You're right, it's NOT my fault!

Hello. First, I want to thank Mike G. for having the gumption to take the leap that most of us have been feeling for awhile now. I, too, have been experiencing many of the same hunger pangs constantly grubmling under the surface. I have been exposing myself to the “other” side for the last several months and I must say that the non-MS ecosystem is just as vibrant and I have high hopes that I might be able to improve the signal to noise ratio that I feel (at least to me) has been heading in the wrong direction. I’ve been lurking on Mike’s new site since his first post and am familiarizing myself with all of the resources in the FOSS ecosystem. I must say that I’m very encouraged. -bill |

I think it’s important to recognize that many people took the leap before me (including our gracious hosts here). I’m just one of the more high-profile voices lately, and doing so in a more public fashion than most. Chalk it up to a history of being an online extrovert. In any case, c’mon in, the water’s fine. |
